Greg Grays has been a dedicated professional athlete trainer since 2004. A standout at Southfield Lathrup High School, where he graduated in 1997, Greg led the state of Michigan in scoring with an impressive average of 32.5 points per game, and achieved a career-high of 60 points in a single game. He also played a pivotal role in winning a national AAU championship with the Michigan Mustangs in the 16 and Under Division, earning recognition as the team’s leading scorer, and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 1996 Adidas Big Time Tournament.Following high school, Greg continued his basketball career at Penn State University for two years before transferring to the University of Detroit-Mercy. There, he averaged 17.8 points per game during his senior year, showcasing his potential for professional play.Upon graduation, Greg trained with the Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves, gaining invaluable skills and insights before embarking on a successful international basketball career. Over an 11-year span, he maintained a shooting percentage of over 44% from the three-point line, with a peak season percentage of 56%. His professional journey took him to countries including Turkey, Belgium, France, Venezuela, Bosnia, Israel, Argentina, and Mexico.​Since joining Get Skillz in 2012, Greg Grays has trained hundreds of young athletes, leveraging his extensive experience to develop their skills and foster their growth in the sport.
